Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 4, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Onyx Tech Inc ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our NitroShot mobile application (the "App").

1. Information We Collect

1.1 App identifier (no traditional sign-in)

The App does not require you to create an account with an email address or a social login. When you open the App, we use Firebase Anonymous Authentication so the App receives a random, persistent anonymous user identifier ("Anonymous ID") associated with your installation. This ID is used to associate your uploads, generations, and subscription status with your device. It is not your name or email address.

1.2 Photos and images you provide

When you choose to use features that require a photo of a vehicle, you may grant the App access to images from your device. Those images (or processed versions of them) are uploaded to our cloud storage so we can run the features you request (for example, tuning or placing your car into a template scene).

1.3 Generated content and activity metadata

We store records of your use of the App's features, which may include: generated result images, which options or templates you selected, inferred or stated vehicle description (such as make/model text used in prompts), timestamps, image URLs, and technical fields needed to operate history and the service.

1.4 Purchase-related information

If you make in-app purchases, Apple (and, on our side, our subscription partner RevenueCat) processes payment and subscription status. We do not receive your full payment card details.

1.5 Automatically collected technical information

Like most mobile apps, our service providers may process technical data needed to operate the App and backend, such as device type, operating system version, app version, diagnostic logs, and network-related information, as described in the policies of those providers (for example, Google Firebase / Google Cloud and Apple).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the App and its features
  • Store and retrieve your uploads and generated images associated with your Anonymous ID
  • Run AI-powered image processing you initiate (tuning, template compositing, and optional vehicle identification from a photo)
  • Validate and manage subscriptions and entitlements
  • Maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and comply with legal obligations

3. In-App Purchases

The App may offer in-app purchases through the Apple App Store (and, where applicable, other platform stores). Payment information is handled by the platform. We do not have access to your full payment information.

4. Third-Party Services

We rely on third-party services that may process data on our behalf, including:

  • Google Firebase and Google Cloud (authentication, database, file storage, and server-side processing)
  • Google AI (Gemini) for certain image generation and editing features initiated in the App
  • OpenAI for optional analysis of a car photo to suggest a vehicle description used in the experience
  • RevenueCat for subscription management

These providers have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them. Links to common policies (subject to change by those companies) include:

5. AI Features and Data Processing

The App's core features use artificial intelligence to transform or compose images based on your photo and the choices you make (for example, tuning options or a selected background template).

5.1 What data is processed

When you use AI features, we send the minimum information needed to perform that operation. This typically includes your vehicle image (and, for template features, reference imagery for the selected scene), text prompts or structured instructions derived from your selections, your Anonymous ID for routing and storage on our systems, and related technical metadata. We do not attach your name or email to AI provider requests because the App does not collect those for sign-in.

5.2 How AI processing works

  • Image generation and editing (tuning and templates): We use Google's Gemini family of models (or successor models we may adopt) via Google's APIs to produce new images. The specific model version may change as we improve the App.
  • Optional vehicle identification: We may send your uploaded car image to OpenAI's API using a vision-capable model to obtain a short text description (for example, make and model) to improve prompts and organization inside the App.

Processing occurs over the internet on infrastructure operated by us and/or our subprocessors. Third-party AI providers may process inputs and outputs according to their terms and privacy policies.

5.3 Outputs and hosting

Generated images are stored in our cloud storage and may be made available via a URL that your App uses to display or save results. Do not use the App to process images you consider highly sensitive if you are uncomfortable with cloud processing and storage as described here.

5.4 Your acknowledgment

By using the AI features of the App, you acknowledge and agree that your images and related instructions will be processed as described in this section. If you do not wish your images processed in this way, do not use those features.

6. Data Security and Retention

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. We retain information only as long as needed to provide the App, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods may depend on how you use the App and operational requirements.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding access, correction, deletion, or objection to certain processing. Because the App uses an Anonymous ID rather than an email account, some requests may require information that helps us verify your request in line with applicable law. For privacy-related requests or questions, contact us using the information in the "Contact Us" section.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy and revise the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated through the App or other reasonable means where appropriate.
